Ryan Hurst's water polo legacy is steeped in dedication, strategy, and elite performance. Beginning his journey at Huntington Beach High School, Ryan was instrumental in leading his team to the CIF Division 1 2016 Runner Up position, showcasing his early promise in the sport.

This momentum carried him to the esteemed New York Athletic Club (NYAC), where he celebrated back-to-back victories as part of the Fisher Cup Champions and National League Champions in 2017. A testament to his talent and drive, Ryan then transitioned to the collegiate realm, joining the ranks of the Cal Men's Water Polo team. There, he stood out as a fierce competitor, guiding his team to the NCAA Division 1 Semifinals.

Off the pool, Ryan is equally impressive. He is a proud graduate of UC Berkeley, where he honed his analytical skills, earning a degree in Data Science. Today, he harnesses this expertise at Deckers brands, serving as a Data Analyst II. There, Ryan provides prescriptive supply chain analytics to global executives, demonstrating his acumen and vision in the world of data.

At Channel Cat University, Ryan wears dual hats: As the Operational Lead, he ensures the seamless functioning and excellence of the platform. And as a Professor, he's united with his high school teammate, Professor Jake Cavano, in their shared mission of imparting knowledge and nurturing the next generation of water polo champions.
